Launched in 2021 by Lach Hall and Dakota Green, co-founders of the sunscreen formulation company Poolside FM, alongside a former Glossier executive, Matty Cronin, Vacation® was born out of a desire to inject fun, nostalgia, and a sense of luxury into a product category typically seen as functional rather than enjoyable.

Since its 2021 debut, the brand has achieved an impressive 400% year-over-year sales growth, expanding to over 1,200 Ulta Beauty locations and launching at Target.
