From pumping gas at 14 years old to becoming a Team Lead at Knotty Oar Marina, a family-owned business, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the operations and management that drive a successful marina. My journey has allowed me to master the ins and outs of rental operations while growing into a leadership role where I’m able to make a direct impact on both the customer experience and business performance.

• Team Leadership: Developed and implemented procedures for teams of 2–12, ensuring efficient delegation of tasks and consistent delivery of top-quality results.

• Rental Operations & Revenue Growth: Managed the pontoon rental platform, including inventory, orders, and customer interactions, while enhancing the rental system and customer experience. These efforts contributed to revenues exceeding $201,000 in 2024.

• Content Creation & Brand Development: Designed and executed promotional content for events and merchandise, increasing brand visibility and audience engagement.

• Vendor Collaboration: Partnered with vendors like Camp David to design and produce seasonal apparel collections, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer preferences.

• Training & Documentation: Created comprehensive employee handbooks, rental training walkthrough videos, and detailed procedure sheets to streamline onboarding and ensure operational consistency.
