I am currently a senior at the University of San Diego, soaking up my last few semesters before stepping into the next exciting chapter of my life. Originally from Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, I grew up in a family business environment that instilled a strong work ethic in me—from starting my modeling career to pumping gas at our family marina starting at 14. As the oldest of 6 siblings, leaving home to start my academic journey in San Diego wasn't an easy decision, but I believe God has placed me in San Diego for more reasons than I can count. After nearly completing four years of college out-of-state, I’ve gained a deep respect for students and their families who are making similar journeys, stepping out of their home grounds and starting over in an unknown environment.

This decision was a pivotal moment in my personal growth, helping me build the confidence to live with a host family in Madrid, Spain, for an entire semester abroad while traveling across Europe at every opportunity. That experience empowered me to pursue an internship at Ashley Furniture, where I relocated to Tampa, Florida, for the summer of 2024, despite knowing no one. But I wasn't finished pushing myself—I wanted to make the most of my final Intercession term, so in January 2025, I’ll be heading to Sydney, Australia, to continue my studies!

From standing by my siblings through challenging times, like divorce, to uprooting my life and moving across states, and embracing new countries and cultures, I have cultivated resilience, independence, and unwavering confidence. These experiences have shaped me in ways no classroom ever could, Empowering me to embrace every opportunity that comes my way with boldness and purpose.
